With barely a week to go before campaign for 10 Lok Sabha seats in Mumbai and adjoining Thane ends, political parties have lined up their top leaders who would be canvassing during the campaign. Those who would be seen and heard, making a case for their party candidates include RJD
leader Lalu Prasad Yadav, Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav, Lok Janashakti leader Ram Vilas Paswan, BJP's Rajnath Singh, Narendra Modi and Shiv Sena executive president Uddhav Thackeray.

Prominent leaders in state politics like MNS chief Raj Thackeray, BJP's Nitin Gadkari, Gopinath Munde and NCP's R R Patil would also address public meetings. SP's "star" campaigner Sanjay Dutt, actress-MP Jaya Bachchan would also do their turn, drumming up support for their party nominees.

In the first two phases of the poll, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Urmila Matondkar, Jeetendra and Shatrughan Sinha were among the film stars who campaigned in the state.

"Now that the first two phases are over and the fate of candidates in 38 of the 48 Lok Sabha seats in the state has been decided, leaders will be able to focus on the remaining 10 seats in Mumbai and Thane where polling is slated on April 30," state BJP spokesperson Madhav Bhandari said.
