Q. What is the first thing that you will do if you become an MLA?
When I become an MLA the main objective will be to have every person in my area to feel comfortable and live comfortably. But one of the first things I will do in my area is to increase safety for women on the road especially in the night.
Q. How satisfied are you with your current MLA's performance?
I live in a posh area, everyone is rich and we create our own bubbles because we are economically strong so the local administration doesn’t affect us much. Even the water supply is our own, even the electricity is our own. Although it is fine in our area but it doesn’t affect us much we live in our own bubble.
Q. How will you manage the campaign within the given Election Commission expenditure limit?
Before I stand up to be an MLA I would have been working in my area already with a team of people to develop a comfort zone for everyone in that area. To give them basic amenities, to meet their needs in that area so in the 16 lakhs budget that I get I think I should be able to manage because I will already have been known as a social worker there.
Q. How important will social networking be in your campaign?
Depending on the area I am standing up from to be an MLA. If it is an upscale area where people relate to social media then I would use social media in my campaigning. But if it is an area which is slightly more downtrodden where even basic amenities are not met then social media has no use, which unfortunately is majority of India.
