Rajasthan Royals beat Kolkata Knight Riders by 34 runs for their first win in the third edition of the Indian Premier League in Ahmedabad on Saturday.

Abhishek Jhunjhunwala top scored with 45 runs to take his side to 168 for seven in 20 overs. In reply, Knight Riders could make only 134 for five.

Yusuf Pathan took two for 23 for the Royals.
