Sachin Tendulkar's Mumbai Indians are hoping the momentum from back-to-back wins will carry them into the IPL final in Friday's qualifier against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

As Royal Challengers Bangalore get ready for another shot at the IPL title, the talk is again about the Chris Gayle factor. Their opponents in the second qualifier, Mumbai Indians, are naturally wary of the run-machine. Sanjjeev Karan Samyal reports.

“Lalit Modi must be laughing at them. For Mumbai Indians playing a qualifier at the Wankhede Stadium, he would have ensured the stands were overflowing," a Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) official said sarcastically as he surveyed the empty seats in the stadium during the Indian Premier League eliminator tie on Wednesday.
