IPL 7: Mumbai Indians face a tough task against CSK

With defending champions Mumbai Indians getting off to the worst possible start this season, Friday night’s game against the in-form Chennai Super Kings once again threatens to prolong their poor run.

The Rohit Sharma-led side, despite an envious batting line-up, and possibly the best bowler in T20 format in Lasith Malinga, has somehow not been able to crack the victory code.

Against the Super Kings, their task is cut out further as MS Dhoni’s men have rediscovered winning ways following the loss in the opening match.

The Mumbai outfit have plenty of work to do both in their batting as well as bowling departments. It is their batting which has hurt the title holders badly as they could only muster 122 and 115 in their previous two games.

First win
In an earlier game on Friday, bottom-placed Sunrisers Hyderabad will search for their first win against an inconsistent Delhi Daredevils, who are likely to be boosted by the return of Kevin Pietersen.

Sunrisers’ campaign this year started on a disappointing note as they first lost to Rajasthan Royals and then were blown away by Maxwell against KXIP.
