We are a happy dressing room as we are back at the top of the table. We are playing good cricket and backing each other up.

When Pune batted first and posted about 150, we thought we might struggle to chase. But the pitch was good for batting. What a knock by Viru. He batted brilliantly and it was an exhibition of absolute class.

I had tweeted the day I joined the Daredevils that it would be fun to be at the other end when he is batting. Now, it has happened.

Terrific duo
He makes it look easy and is just incredible. Viru just takes the pressure off you while batting. I would love to be involved in a six-hitting competition with him. At the moment, it is even between us in terms of hitting sixes.

While batting with Viru, there is not much talk. Our games are similar - we see the ball and hit it in all forms of cricket. It is a relaxed affair when we are out there together.

But the other heroes of the day were our bowlers, who bowled beautifully. We gave away extras the other day, but this time it was good. It was a good team performance.

Next up are the Mumbai Indians. Sachin is back but the better news is that Lasith Malinga is not around. The batters will certainly be heaving a sigh of relief. Still, we will need to bowl and bat better than them to win.

Kotla all the way
A word on the Pune stadium, it is an absolutely beautiful ground. The IPL has certainly made some incredible facilities available for us cricketers. But nothing beats the Kotla. It is the showpiece venue for me. Why? Because it is our home ground and is beautiful.

What matters more is that the support we get at the Kotla is truly brilliant. So, Dilliwallahs turn up for the next game. We need you.
