They wear yellow, but their favourite team sports red.

Ask the Chennai Super Kings players and most of them would say they want to be known as the Manchester United of the Indian Premier League.

Under the flamboyant leadership of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, CSK have come to dominate the IPL like the Red Devils have the EPL.

Two-time champions CSK have been the most formidable outfit in the T20 league. With a squad which has seen minimal changes compared to other teams, and an IPL record which has seen the team finish in the top two four times in five seasons, Chennai go into the tournament as favourites. http://www.hindustantimes.com/Images/Popup/2013/4/02_04_pg22d.jpg

CSK would also be looking at their India stars R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Murali Vijay and Suresh Raina to provide the necessary firepower to the team. Raina, who has been the league’s most prolific scorer with 2254 runs to his credit, could be CSK’s mainstay.

Daring Delhi look for victory

If the saying ‘always a bridesmaid but never a bride’ were to be applied for the teams in the IPL, then Delhi Daredevils would fit the description well.

There’s no doubting their quality however. In Virender Sehwag and David Warner they have the most explosive opening combination followed by skipper Mahela Jayawardene, whose tact will be crucial in plotting the opposition’s downfall.
