They may not have made it to the Top Ten, but they hold as much promise as their crowned counterparts. Here is a list of other options in south-west Delhi.

Mount St Mary’s School

Parade Road

The school is spread over 14.6 acres and has 4 playgrounds, an auditorium and 44 IT-enabled learning rooms. Sports facilities on offer are cricket ground, basketball court, football ground, swimming pool etc. The school participates in several sports competitions and has also bagged 6 national and 10 state level awards.

Mount Carmel School

Established in 1972, the school is CBSE affiliated and organises exchange programmes. It has clubs, taekwondo, folk dance, robotics, French, science and aerodynamics classes. Every week inter-house activities are held. It has an auditorium, a playground, seven labs and three IT-enabled learning rooms. Basketball and badminton are the sports facilities offered.

The library has more than 16,000 books. The school encourages the students to participate in various clubs, including environment, cultural & social activities and debating. NCC classes are held weekly. It has an aeromodelling club, and an art and  music block with various instruments for students to practice.

The school is spread over 1.73 acres and has subject labs for physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, maths, media, multimedia, engineering graphics and language.  The art and culture club offers courses like clay modelling, sculpture and pottery, and has studios for dance and painting. The school library has over 40,000 books.

This all-girls school is spread over 2.5 acres. The school complex has four playgrounds, two auditoriums and sports facilities such as basketball ground, badminton court, yoga, taekwondo and others. It runs special classes called “Sankalp” for neighbourhood slum children. The school promotes life skill education among students.
