Brazil fans were disappointed, and evidently so. Think about it… a country spends $11 billion hosting the Fifa World Cup and the home team doesn't even play in the finals. Tough.

But the highlight of Tuesday's semi-final was not how Germany trashed Brazil 7-1. It was, undoubtedly, the extreme reaction of the fans - from a merry making, often loud bunch, to a sobbing, still-loud crowd. Here's a look.
