India's hopes of boxing glory suffered a blow on Monday, as all three of the country's fighters lost their semi-final bouts in a first session dominated by Britain's "home nations".

Beijing Olympic Games bronze medalist Sushil was chosen through a competition conducted by Games tabloid 'Village News' based on a survey of athletes including that of international delegates.

Delhi wears deserted look for Games closing

Delhi virtually shut down on Thursday ahead of the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony, with government offices, banks and major markets closed for the day. The Jawaharlal Nehru stadium, the venue for the event, is swarming with thousands of security personnel.
