Indian veteran Jeev Milkha Singh on Wednesday gave himself nine years to win a Major after returning to the top 100 on the back of one of the biggest wins of his career.
Singh, 41, said India's improving players were getting closer to winning a Major trophy, and he hoped to have one in the cabinet by the time he turns 50.
"I think we're close. I think it all depends on week to week and if you're having a good week and you're mentally strong that week. It could be any time," he said ahead of the Barclays Singapore Open, which he won in 2008.
"I think these guys are strong enough to win tournaments anywhere in the world. They're playing well and my goal obviously is that before my golfing career is over, I would like to win a Major championship.
"I feel like I've got another nine years in me. I'm 41 and hopefully I'll do that," added Jeev.
