Saina Nehwal sailed into the quarterfinals but it was curtains for Parupalli Kashyap and PV Sindhu in the second round of the Korea Open Super Series Premier on Thursday.
While Saina took 36 minutes to brush aside Mingtian Fu of Indonesia 21-16 21-9; Kashyap lost 21-16, 13-21, 17-21 to seventh seed Yun Hu of Hong Kong. Sindhu went down 19-21 13-21 to Thailand's Porntip Buranaprasertsuk.
Meanwhile, Kashyap achieved a new high as he was ranked World No.11 in the latest BWF rankings.
IABF ready with amendments
New Delhi: The suspended Indian Boxing Federation (IABF) claims to have taken the first step towards regaining recognition from the International Boxing Association by preparing the draft of an amended constitution which would be compliant with the AIBA statute.
AIBA suspended IABF last year in December, citing the International Olympic Committee's ban on the Indian Olympic Association and "possible manipulation" in its elections.
Himmat, Siddhant put Delhi in good position

In DDCA league, Raghav Sharma's 129 helped Rajdhani Club beat RCN, Kunal Gaba's 5/35 helped Telefunken beat Gush Club while Manav Sharma's 5/28 powered Young Cricketers to a win.
