Jammu and Kashmir beat Rajasthan 3-1 in a second-round qualification match of the National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy. In a cluster C match of the second qualifying round, the winners led 2-1 at the break.
For the winners, Rizwan Sheikh (8th minute), Yaseen
Rashid (45th) and Zubair Ahmed (89th) scored the goals. Narendra Singh scored one for Rajasthan in the 39th minute.
Zubair could have scored a second goal had he not missed a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. In another cluster C match, Andaman and Nicobar Islands gave walkover to Assam.
