Striker Raul Gonzalez has announced his exit from Real Madrid after 15 seasons with the Spanish club. Madrid's all-time leading scorer made the announcement Monday from the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in front of fans and Madrid coach Jose Mourinho and club president Florentino Perez. Raul made his Madrid debut in 1994 and spent his entire career at the club - a span that includes three Champions League and six Spanish league titles.
Agent quells rumours of Balotelli transfer
Rome: Star teenage Italian forward Mario Balotelli's agent on Monday denied that his client has signed a deal with Manchester City.
His agent Mino Raiola told Ansa news agency: "Nothing has been signed between Balotelli and Manchester City and I doubt anything will be in the next few days."
Maradona to coach on his own terms
Buenos Aires: Diego Maradona says he'll stay on as coach of Argentina if he's able to keep his entire staff. Hours ahead of a meeting with Argentine Football Association president Julio Grondona, Maradona laid out his conditions, saying:
"If they touch the massage therapist, I'm out," he told America TV upon arrival from Caracas.
