The All-India Football Federation's (AIFF) response to the report submitted on senior national team coach Bob Houghton and his lawyer Anish Dayal has been postponed.
The apex body had initially stated at the first meeting on April 11 that the committee appointed to scrutinize Houghton's reply to the showcause notice filed by the AIFF would hold a second round of talks on April 20.
"That was a tentative date," said AIFF general-secretary Kushal Das and added, "The investigation is being carried out by the committee (comprising AIFF vice-presidents Subrata Dutta and Ankur Dutta and treasurer Hardev Jadeja besides Das himself) presently. We will give them a date once we're done."
Dayal told HT, "The AIFF committee presumably needs more time so for now there's nothing much we can do."
