Bhupathi-Hanley crash out of Indianapolis

Top seed Mahesh Bhupathi and Australian Paul Hanley were shocked by Americans Andy Roddick and Mardy Fish in the first round of men's doubles event at the USD 525,000 Indianapolis Tennis Championships.

Bhupathi and his new doubles partner, Hanley, suffered 7-6 (2), 4-6, 8-10 loss after starting well in the opener on Monday.

Meanwhile, Karan Rastogi also bowed out in the first round of the singles event at the USD 50,000 ATP Challenger Series tournament in Lexingotn, USA.

Seeded seventh, Rastogi surrendered 1-6, 4-6 against American Breandon Evans at the hard court event.

Now the 21-year-old would hope to taste success in doubles event where he has paired with Romania's Florin Mergea. They are up against Slovakian duo of Kami Capkovic and Martir Klizan in the first round.
