Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has said that Wayne Rooney is one step away from becoming the best striker in the world.
The England striker has 25 goals this season and is battling Chelsea's Didier Drogba for the Golden Boot.
"Where I hope he improves more is with his predatory instinct in the penalty box," The Sun quoted Ferguson, as saying.
"He's done great this year but he's still got to get to the levels of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Andy Cole and Ruud van Nistelrooy," he said.
"If he got to that level he would be the best in the world. His temperament's improved. He's not rushing about doing the silly things. He's maturing well," Ferguson said.
"I know there's more there, more to be developed, and I know he can do that," he added.
