The International Football Arena, an organisation that works towards getting together the biggest football minds (and wallets), in the world, made its first foray into India. Twenty business, football and international players came together in the Capital on Thursday to discuss the future of the game in the country. Present were representatives of clubs, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and a number of other stakeholders.

"We had a very open discussion about football in India, had the chance to share ideas for the AIFF and the national team," said Bob Houghton.

Ben Wells, marketing head for Chelsea FC said, "It's great to see the interest that football has generated and that businesses are looking to the sport as having a future."
