India begin 49-day WI tour with two warm-ups

NEW DELHI: India will start their four-Test series in West Indies in Antigua and sign off the seven-week tour with the final game at Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, as per the scheduled finalised by the two boards. A West Indies Cricket Board statement said that India will play both their practice games at St Kitts. India’s first Test tour of the Caribbean since 2011 will run from July 6 to August 23. THE SCHEDULE: Practice games: St Kitts: Two-day game July 9-10; 3-day game: July 14-16. First Test: Antigua (July 21-25), Second Test: Kingston, Jamaica (July 30-Aug 3); Third Test: St Lucia (Aug 9-13); Fourth Test: Port-of-Spain (Aug 18-22).
