Manchester United kick off title defence at WBA

Manchester United will kick off their title defence at West Bromwich Albion on Aug. 13, the Premier League said on Friday when they issued the fixture list for the new season.

Runners-up Chelsea, who are still to name their new manager following the departure of Carlo Ancelotti at the end of last season, are also away on the opening day when they head to FA Cup finalists Stoke City.

Ivanov joins Partizan Belgrade
Bulgaria defender Ivan Ivanov signed a three-year deal with Parrizan Belgrade on Friday after joining the Serbian champions from Russian second division side Alania Vladikavkaz. "I had offers from several clubs and decided to join Partrizan because of the club's high ambitions in domestic competitions and Europe," Ivanov told reporters.

Malaga to sign midfielder Toulalan
Malaga have agreed to sign French midfielder Jeremy Toulalan from Olympique Lyon on a four-year contract, the La Liga club said on Friday. They have also agreed to sign Netherlands defender Joris Mathijsen from SV Hamburg on a two-year contract. The 31-year-old has passed a medical and will be presented to the media when the players return from vacation, Malaga said on their website on Thursday.
