Indian football's costliest player Okolie Odafa repaid the faith put in him by a cornered Mohun Bagan as he struck a hattrick to help achieve a 3-1 win after being a goal down to Pailan Arrows.

In another game played at Pune, Mumbai FC thrashed Air India 4-1. As a result of the win, Mumbai head the league standings on goal difference.
