Ronaldo won't be missed, says Man United star Vidic

Manchester United star Nemanja Vidic believes that his club can win the Champions League this season without the services of Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo.

"Our expectations have not gone down at all because of the rebuilding in the squad. Our goals are exactly the same - to win at least the Premier League and the Champions League. We genuinely believe our fans will have many reasons to be happy this season," The Sun quoted Vidic, as saying.

"None of us are thinking about last season's final defeat by Barcelona any more. It is time to look forward and I am fully concentrated on the new season. It is true that we will miss Ronaldo and Tevez for their goals. We cannot deny that," he added.

"However, this United squad has enormous potential because we have so many talented youngsters who are improving all the time.
