India's Sania Mirza and her Australian partner Anastasia Rodionova came from a set down against Chinese Taipei pair of Hao-ching Chan and Yung-jan Chan to clinch the women's doubles title at the Pattaya Open on Sunday.

The top seeded Indo-Australian pair held their nerves and rallied their way to register a thrilling 3-6 6-1 10-8 victory in the final that lasted for an hour and six minutes.

The winning duo won 68% points on their first serve but lagged behind in the second serve to their rivals, who won 58% compared to the former's 47%.

Sania's singles campaign had ended with a 5-7 3-6 quarter-final defeat to qualifier Su-Wei Hsieh of Chinese Taipei last week.
