A late penalty by Michal Kadlek earned the Czech Republic a 2-2 draw with Scotland in Glasgow on Saturday to keep them on course for a playoff spot for the Euro 2012 finals.

Crian Levein's side seemed on the verge of a crucial victory when Darren Fletcher struck with eight minutes to go but the Czechs salvaged a point when Kadlek blasted his spot kick into the net after Danny Wilson tripped substitute Jan Rezek in the area in the 90th minute.

Czechs remain second on 10 points from six matches in Group I while Scotland move up to third on five points from five matches.
