Top tennis stars of the continent will take part in the second Asia Cup to be held in Doha in November this year.
The biggest attraction of the men's tournament this year is its impressive prize money, which is three times more than the amount offered in the inaugural edition in Bangkok.
"Tennis Asia Cup this year will have a total prize money of USD 300,000 as against USD 100,000 in 2007. Top eight Asian players from different regions will be invited for the event," an Asian Tennis Federation statement said.
The ATF had launched Asia Cup, "the continent's own Masters tournament," last year for the benefit of Asian players.
