LOUISVILLE: Actor Will Smith and former heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis will be among the pallbearers for Muhammad Ali’s funeral on Friday, joining a list of notable athletes, entertainers and politicians to mourn the boxing legend.
Former US President Bill Clinton, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan and comedian Billy Crystal were among those previously announced as participating in public events as the world grieves the loss of the boxer.
INDIA THRASH LAOS
GUWAHATI: Jeje Lalpekhlua scored twice as India recovered from a one-goal deficit to thrash Laos 6-1 in one of the biggest ever wins and book a berth in the 2019 AFC Asian Cup football Qualifiers here on Tuesday.
India trailed 0-1 in the 16th minute through a Khonesavanh Sihavong strike but the home side pumped in six goals- including three in seven minutes.
Jeje Lalpekhlua (42nd and 74th minute), Sumeet Passi( 45th), Sandesh Jhingan (49th), Mohd. Rafique (83rd) and debutant Fulganco Cardozo (87th) were the goal-getters for India.

GENEVA: The World Health Organization’s Emergency Committee on Zika will meet early next week to consider new evidence and review its recommendations, including regarding the Rio Olympics, a WHO spokesman said on Tuesday.
