Last Month Mumbai girl Malvika Raj Joshi made it to Massachusetts Institute of Technology without having cleared her class 10 or 12 examinations. She had been home schooled. To examine why and how homeschooling works, HT tracked another family in Mumbai, the Gadas, where one of the children chose to be educated at home, while the other opted to remain in a conventional school.
