A regular film shoot schedule turned into a nightmare for actress Mallika Sherawat who couldn't believe her ears when a group of crazy inebriated fans banged on her Jaipur hotel room and passed lewd comments on the lady. The actress who was in the city to shoot KC Bokadia's Dirty Politics, is now scared to resume her shoot, reported Mumbai Tabloid Mid Day.
Sherawat is not alone. There are numerous other actresses who have faced fan fury at its worst.
Bipasha Basu was groped by a passerby during a Durga Puja event
Bipasha Basu never thought that a promotional event could leave her injured, harassed and distressed. In Ahmedabad to promote Raaz 3 with co-stars Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta, Bips was in for a rude shock when a fan tried to pull her skirt. She also hurt her arm in an attempt to save herself from the mob fury.
It happened again with her at a Durga Puja event while she was with her then boyfriend John Abraham. A passerby groped the actress leaving her furious.
Kangna Ranaut faced something similar while shooting for Anand L Rai's Tanu Weds Manu. A group of youngsters came too close for comfort. Reportedly, some even tried to touch the actress.
Sonakshi Sinha was also harassed by a group of miscreants claiming to be her fans at an event in Gandhi Garden, Mumbai. While leaving the event, a group of boys even said, “Idhar dekho na, hamse baat karo na”, according to tabloid Mumbai Mirror.
If you thought crazy fans exist only in India, here's an eye-opener. Priyanka Chopra who was promoting her debut international single In My City in Canada was surprised to find herself mobbed. Security had to be called in to rescue the actress.
