Culture appropriation debate: Here’s why people are angry with Farrah Abraham

There seems to be no end to the culture appropriation debate. Reality star Farrah Abraham is the latest celebrity who has been accused of cultural appropriation. The 25 -year-old American reality TV star decided to walk the red carpet at MTV Movie & TV Awards in a three-piece pink and gold sari featuring a headpiece and a bindi. The outfit and the look was designed by Taal Boutique & Bridal. Her choice of outfit upset many fans. Critics took to social media to express their anger. However, Abraham responded to the controversy by saying that ,“I think this will inspire others to embrace new cultures and have good experiences”, to TooFab website.
