Actor Yami Gautam feels fashion should reflect one’s personality. “Fashion is anything which is you and reflects your personality and if you are comfortable with what you wearing, you’ll look trendy and fashionable for sure,” says Yami.
Interestingly, the 24-year-old actor has worked on the big screen as well as small screen. “May be you didn’t interview me when I worked on the small screen! For me the only difference is the medium. I have always believed in quality work. Well, I’m just a beginner. And, I feel TV is no less important than big screen,” she says.
Yami made her Bollywood debut last year with the movie Vicky Donor, last year. “The movie did boost my career. Because of it, I won many female debut awards,” she says. The actor says she loves visiting the Capital, and was here for the launch of the label, Forever 21. “Delhi is full of energy, it is special to me because I have shot my first film here and it is closer to my home town Chandigarh. I love the food, the vibe and the people here. My favourite street food is papri chaat from Tilak Nagar,” says the actor.
Life after winning the awards is less challenging for Yami now. “The challenge starts when you first come to Mumbai. But it’s momentary if you win an award,” she says.
