No dishy dudes and diamonds give a high to our glam sirens. So, what is it that the girls have a fetish for? Some style goddesses reveal their secret passion they indulge in.
Splurging on shoes and sandals is becoming infectious in the glam circuit. Celina Jaitley, Dia Miraza, Koena Mitra's obsession for footwear tops the list. Celina has collected more than 1000 pair of shoes for herself from all over the globe.
Now, it seems that the virus is spreading as many models and actresses seem to have become possessed about collecting sneakers and strappy sandals. Udita Goswami, model Sonalika Sahay and Nina Manuel are glutting their wardrobe with chic footwear whenever they go out shopping.
Udita tells her reason for splurging on the same. "I have developed a strange habit of collecting a sandal from any new place I visit. I really have a festish for good, sexy footwear. I look at these sandals as a specialty of that particular place. Till now, I have been to dozens of places and have collected number of stylish and unique sandals. A particular style not just adds variety to my footwear collection but reminds me of my visit to the place also," she says.
The list of shoe collectors doesn't end here. Hot ramp property Sonalika Sahay too has a similar craze. She says, "I am a shopaholic. Wherever I go, the first thing I do is shop. My shopping list begins with my passion for beautiful, stylishshoes and flip-flops. I don't like Indian footwear too much because I hardly get one in my size. So I do lot of shoe shopping abroad. Till now, I have spent thousands of rupees on shoe-shopping."
Diva Nina Manuel is also a shoe lover. "I love boots which I mostly wear in winters. In other seasons, I try variety of sandals," says Manuel.
VJ Juhi blames her sun sign for her love for footwear, "You know Capricornians are mad about shoes and sandals. I am one of them. I pick up flat shoes and then go for other kinds. Till now, I think I would have collected more than 70 such pairs and if I keep on going like this I may lose count of my footwear very soon," quips Juhi.
