Traffic is a nightmare for everyone in the city and actor Imran Khan got a taste of that on Friday, August 2, evening. He was on his way to visit the Abdul Rahman Dargah in Dongri for iftari to promote his movie Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara. Imran, who is very punctual, got late because of a traffic jam.

A source says, “Imran is very particular about time. With the pouring rain, he was stuck in traffic for a couple of hours. He had left from Bandra after shooting a show. After a long wait, he called a friend to pick him up. The friend gave him a ride on his bike from Mahalaxmi to Dongri. The neighbourhood was swarming with people, hoping to catch a glimpse of their favourite star.”

Imran confirms this news, adding, “I had to call my friend to take me to Dongri and back. With so many women and children, I was worried about their safety and well-being. It’s much easier to maneuver through traffic on a bike.”
