Princess Diana was once smuggled into a gay bar in South London dressed as a male model, British comedienne Cleo Rocos has claimed in a memoir.
Cleo Rocos, who starred in the Kenny Everett Television Show, said she accompanied the princess along with the Queen frontman Freddie Mercury and fellow comedian Kenny Everet to the Royal Vauxhall Tavern in South London during the 1980s, the Sun reported.
Dressed in a camouflage army jacket, black leather cap and aviator sunglasses for the prank, Di looked like a male model, Rocos revealed in her new book The Power of Positive Drinking.
She added that disguised Di was delighted when she was served in the bar without being recognized.
Rocos said when they walked inside the bar they felt the princess would be discovered at any minute, but people just seemed to blank her and Diana loved it.
Next day Di had the clothes returned with a note ending: "We must do it again!" the comedian stated.
