In town for family friend Raghavendra Rathore and also for a make up shoot at the ongoing India Fashion Week 2006, spicy siren Riya Sen catches up with Sidhi Chadha.
Style to you means...
It just means being comfortable in whatever you are, in who you really are and not pretending to be somebody you are not. Fashion and style is all about your attitude towards life.
Who are your favourite designers?
Raghavendra Rathore. Not because I am modeling for him but otherwise also. I love his creations. When I was young, I used to dream of wearing his Clothes, but they were not meant to me at that age and now I love wearing his creations.
Are you brand conscious?
Not at all! Among the designers, I only like Raghavendra's clothes.
Who do you think is the most stylish person?
My grand aunt Gayatri Devi. She is really elegant and oozes style and sophistication. I really look up to her in terms of style and fashion.
I workout and I eat a lot. I don't curb on my diet. I am a big chocolate lover and can't leave them for anyone on earth. I don't believe in diet control. For me, eating and gyming go hand in hand.
So, which is better in terms of fashion - Delhi or Mumbai?
I think both the places are catering to different people. Mumbai is mostly Bollywood. It is for the masses and Delhi is designer wear, for the classes. I prefer a mix of both because I have stayed in Delhi as well as Mumbai.
Must haves in your wardrobe?
My glasses, jeans, denim jacket, white T-shirt and sneakers.
What about your upcoming movies?
I am doing Apna Aapna, Money Money and one with Mukta Arts. I am being choosy at the moment and taking projects - be it movies and ads - that I like.
