Actor Anushka Sharma doesn’t think ex-beau, actor Ranveer Singh, makes any sense when he says he misses her. “You can’t take Ranveer seriously. He says something one day, and something else the next. It’s true that we don’t get to spend much time together as we are not doing a film together, but he will always be a friend,” says Sharma.
The 23-year-old is happy to have age on her side. “I am the youngest actor among all my contemporaries in Bollywood. I was 18 when I started doing films, and it has turned out to be good thing. I am in no hurry and can take my time and pick and choose roles as I don’t have to worry that good roles will come to me only till a certain time.”
But, of course, she realises there’s competition. “Whoever says that competition doesn’t bother them is lying. I am well aware of the competition around me and I realise that I have to work doubly hard to make my mark.”
And what does she have to say about the reported cold war brewing between actor Sonakshi Sinha and her? “I don’t know Sonakshi at all. I have met her only twice, very briefly ... As long as she doesn’t say anything to me on my face, I am not bothered.”
