Vehicular-based activities abound as no-good drifter Trevor and car requisitionist Franklin get on the wrong side of the law, and a submersible stumbles upon a sunken wreck in the latest "Grand Theft Auto V" images.
And various tidbits can be gleaned from each of the shots, such as the existence of police motorcycles in Trevor's interstate chase, further evidence of buried treasure in the scuba and submersible shot, and detailing for characters and objects, as police perch on truck skirting and windows shatter before Franklin's brute-force carjacking.
Typically, the marketing material only tells the more storied side of a "GTA" experience. Many players will instead spend their time searching for the most inappropriately flimsy vehicle to hurl off a sweet jump, or spend many an hour tooling about with their mates in its open-world multiplayer.
"Grand Theft Auto V" has so far been announced for an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 release on September 17; comments regarding versions for the PlayStation 4, new Xbox and PC are expected to follow.
