Ubisoft's Just Dance 4 and its Rocksmith guitar tutor game have been dated for October and September respectively, while shooter Far Cry 3 has been moved back two months to what has traditionally been a late November dead-zone.
Party game Just Dance 4, for Wii, PlayStation 3 (using a Move controller) and Xbox Kinect, will arrive in Europe for October 2 and in North America and Australasia the following week, on October 9.
The 40-strong tracklist runs from Barry White's "You're the First, the Last, My Everything" to One Direction's "You're Beautiful" and "Good Feeling" by Flo Rida.
Rocksmith, a PS3 and Xbox 360 game and gadget that plugs into real electric guitars (and by September, basses), has been available in North America since October 2011 but is being relaunched on October 16, 2012.
Its European debut is set for September 27, with an oft-delayed PC version now promised for October 18.
Far Cry 3 is a surprise inclusion in Ubisoft's roster update, having previously been targeted for the early September window but now scheduled from November 28 in European regions and December 4 in North America.
It's an off-kilter take on the popular first person shooter genre but will now launch after a glut of seasonal competitors: Borderlands 2, 007 Legends, Doom 3: BFG Edition, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, Halo 4, and Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
The delay could mean that Far Cry 3 is to launch on Wii U along with the confirmed PS3, PC and 360 versions, though Ubisoft hasn't indicated an equivalent is on the way, as it has with Assassin's Creed III and Just Dance 4. Instead, the official line is that a new date allows Far Cry 3 studios to "create the best possible gameplay experience."
