'Assassin's Creed,' 'Just Dance' and 'Far Cry' are some of the company's most famous franchises; at 3pm on June 9, Ubisoft creatives will take to the stage during the Electronic Entertainment Expo to set out their plans for the future.

With 'Assassin's Creed: Unity' announced earlier in March, the French-set historical action game is sure to form a crucial part of the Ubisoft presentation at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.

Such presentations are usually broadcast live over the internet to game fans, investors and curious onlookers alike, and Ubisoft has developed a reputation for choosing unusual hosts -- Aisha Tyler a recent favorite -- and dropping at least one completely unexpected reveal.

By June 9, Ubi will hope to be surfing a wave of critical praise following the well anticipated debut of futuristic thriller 'Watch Dogs,' a game announced for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well as PS3, 360 and, according to a Ubi Store listing discovered April 14, Nintendo's Wii U.

Also shown off during previous E3 presentations were multiplayer driving game 'The Crew' and the team-based city survival of 'Tom Clancy's The Division,' both of which should make further appearances here, as each is currently pegged for a late 2014 release.

The French-headquartered company has also found success with fitness and dance games, integrating calorie burn monitors into its latest 'Just Dance' titles, and November's 'Just Dance 2014' was a launch game for the PS4 and Xbox One after making a debut on the PS3, Wii, Wii U and 360.

Another title launched alongside the Xbox One was the movement-oriented 'Fighters Uncaged.' The more conventional aerobic workouts of the 'Your Shape' series skipped last year after experimenting with Xbox 360 and Wii U exclusivity; a return to E3 could shed light on Ubi's plans for the genre in the years to come.

And rumors have started to circulate regarding 'Far Cry 4,' this time swapping tropical islands for alpine danger, but replete with the crazy, unhinged action found in its two most immediate predecessors.
