Vodafone has started selling 4G compatible SIM cards for its customers in Delhi as the company preps the consumer launch of its LTE data services in the national capital. Vodafone has already rolled out its 4G services in some parts of southern India, and plans to expand the service to other metros including Kolkata, Mumbai and Bengaluru by the end of March. According to the company, existing Vodafone customers who upgrade to 4G-Ready SIMs will get 1GB of 4G data at the time of launch.
To switch over to a 4G-ready Vodafone SIM, just walk into any Vodafone store and apply for 4G data services. Once the necessary identification and 4G-enabled handset compatibility check is done, you’ll be provided with a new 4G-enabled SIM card.
