Remember the tiny wireless earpods that Apple unveiled alongside the new iPhone 7 family to make up for the removal of the 3.5 mm headphone jack?
If you have an image of just the Apple earphones with Siri capabilities without wires, then you are right. We are talking about the Rs 15,400 AirPods that come with a case which can be charged and in turn charges the wireless earphones.
But there is bad news if you have been waiting to buy one as according to a report, the AirPods shipments will not hit shores anytime before January next year.
According to DigiTimes, the supplier of AirPods, Inventec, will only begin shipping the products at the beginning of the year and is expected to see a revenue growth of 7% next year.
However, if the reports are true, then Apple will be left with no solution for the AirPods in the country except for Beat headphones that was launched alongside the AirPods in the same event.
But there is a conflicting report from Apple Insider which claims the company will ship the AirPods by the end of this year, and not push it to the next year.
The AirPods can seamlessly communicate with all Apple devices including the iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, Macbook and others. The AirPods also let users summon Siri by tapping on them.
