Apple’s next iPhone, isn’t the only special edition you should be excited about. Taiwanese manufacturer Asus has added a ‘Special Edition’ of its Zenfone 2 Deluxe smartphone. The smartphone is now listed on the company’s website. However, no details regarding price and availability have been revealed.
The ‘Special Edition’ gets an upgraded Intel Atom Z3590 processor and an option for 128GB of internal storage. It also supports an additional 128GB storage via microSD card, effectively offers a massive 256 GB of storage in total.
Other distinguishing feature of the phone are swappable rear covers in Drift Silver and Carbon Night colour. It will also comes pre-loaded with Asphalt 8: Airborne bundle including 24,000 free coins.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone sports a 5.5-inch full HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powering the smartphone is a 2.5GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor bundled with 4GB of RAM. Optics on the smartphone include a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie cam on the front. Juicing up the smartphone is a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity features include built-in 4G/LTE, high-speed WiFi connectivity, 3G and Bluetooth support. The smartphone also features a slew of sensors such as compass, gyroscope, proximity, and ambient light sensors.
