The smartphone will be available in two colour options - grey and gold. The company has also announced that it will launch its next flagship smartphone on August 20. The next flagship Coolpad phone will be exclusively available via Amazon India.

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C will compete against the Xiaomi Redmi 4A. Priced at Rs 5,999, the Xiaomi Redmi 4A comes with a 5-inch HD display. It runs Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage. The smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front facing camera. Coolpad has said that it is going to launch four more offline-exclusive smartphones by end of 2018. The company, however, is not the only one to start off as an online-only brand and later join the offline segment. Back in October 2016, Xiaomi launched the Redmi 3s Plus, its first smartphone only for the offline market. Motorola, another popular online smartphone brand, is also looking to strengthen its presence in the offline market. The company launched Moto Hubs, a chain of retail stores, in India on Thursday.
