Popular high-end gaming hardware company Razer is reportedly going to launch its first-ever smartphone on November 1. Though Razer hasn't officially disclosed much about its upcoming mobile hardware, various leaks on the web gives a fair idea of what to expect from the device.

A Slovakian website called TechByte on Saturday posted a photo said to be of the Razer smartphone. The live photo reveals the smartphone is going to come with dual-camera with flash on the back, which appears to be a metal panel. The rear also has Razer's logo at the centre.

There are two separate buttons on the left edge whereas the overall look and feel of the device is pretty much flatish, akin to the older Nokia smartphones. The device also seems pretty similar to smartphone startup Nextbit's Robin. Razer had acquired Nextbit earlier this year and hinted at working on new mobile design.

While the leaked image doesn't give away much, technology website PhoneRadar spotted a listing of the Razer smartphone. According to the listing (which has been now taken down), the Razer smartphone will sport a fairly large 5.7-inch display but with high-end Quad HD resolution. It will be powered by Qualcomm's top-end Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with massive 8GB of RAM and Adreno 540 for graphics.

Other expected features of the smartphone include a 12-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel selfie camera, 64GB built-in storage and connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC.

The market is flooded with smartphones that deliver a superior gaming experience. But there's barely any gaming company involved in the mobile hardware. Another major name in the gaming industry NVIDIA offers a Shield tablet whereas Razer offers Edge Pro gaming tablet. This will be the first time a smartphone by a gaming company will be launched.
