Google’s Nexus 5X, 6P in Indian markets by October end

Can’t wait to get your hands on Google’s latest phones, the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P? You won’t have to wait long. According to reports, Google is all set to bring its flagship devices to India by the end of October, just in time for Diwali.

The phones, which will be sold both on the internet and in retail stores, are priced competitively. The Nexus 5X will cost you Rs. 31,900 for the 16 GB version and Rs. 35,900 for the 32 GB. The higher-end Nexus 6P will be available at Rs. 39,999 for the 32 GB version and Rs. 42,999 for the 64 GB model.

That’s about half of what Apple’s lowest end iPhone 6S is expected to cost in India.

The Nexus 5X features a 5.2-inch screen, 2 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB RAM, 12.3 MP rear and 5MP front camera and a 2,700 mAh battery.

The Nexus 6P features a 5.7-inch screen, 1.8 GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 2GB RAM, 12.3 MP rear and 8MP front camera and a 3,450 mAh battery. Both the devices feature fingerprint sensors and fast charging (with USB Type-C port).

Meanwhile, the excellent Nexus 6 now costs just Rs. 33,800 for the 32 GB version.
