Xiaomi has two brand new headphones out on the market: the Rs. 5,499 Mi over-the-ear headphones, and the more affordable Rs. 999 in-ear earphones.
Both models were announced way back in January in China and will finally be available to buy on Xiaomi's official Indian website starting 10am on Thursday.
The more expensive Mi headphones are contain beryllium diaphragm speakers and are attached to a silver-plated straight cable. You can swap the ear covers to be over-ear or on-ear if you're a discerning audiophile.
They also feature an in-built microphone and buttons for calls and Kevlar fibre within the cable to protect against breakage and will be available in gold and grey colours.
The cheaper, in-ear headphones, meanwhile, feature an aerospace-grade metal diaphragm and better sound quality than its predecessor, the Xiaomi's Piston 2 earphones.
It will be available in a sleek, brushed-metal grey.
