HTC took to Twitter to finally confirm that its next flagship smartphone, HTC U, will be squeezable.
However, if you are thinking that it will be made of rubber, then you are wrong. According to a VentureBeat report, the phone’s metal frame will include embedded sensors that will enable its owner to control settings and make gestures by squeezing its sides or swiping up and down on them.
VentureBeat quoted smartphone insider Evan Blass.
The HTC U is expected to be unveiled on May 16. HTC is counting on the U and its quirks make a larger dent than the U Ultra, which has already gotten a 20% price cut to increase its appeal despite going on sale just weeks ago.
