A Chinese online retailer might have spoiled the party for Huawei before the high-profile launch of its next flagship, or shall we say flagships. The online retailer has listed the Huawei P9, the P9 Max and P9 Lite revealing price and specifications.
Starting from the top, the Huawei P9 is said to get a 5.2-inch Full HD display, Kirin 950 octa-core processor bundled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage and 12-megapixel dual rear cameras. The P9 will carry a price tag of $499, according to the listing.
Next, we have the P9 Max which is said to carry a hefty price tag of $700 and features a 6.2-inch Quad HD display, a Kirin 955 processor with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of built-in storage and a 3,000 mAh battery. Optics on the smartphone include a 12-megapixel dual rear camera and a 8-megapixel camera on the front. The P9 Max is tipped to get a price tag of $499.
Finally the listing reveals cheapest of the lot--the Huawei P9 Lite. It is said to get a 5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 650 processor bundled with 2GB of RAM, 16 GB of built-in storage, the same dual lens 12-megapixel camera setup and a 2,500 mAh battery. It has been priced at $300.
Meanwhile, Huawei has officially confirmed that its next flagship will be called the P9. The company has released a new teaser which shows the dual-lens camera setup on the upcoming flagship. The Huawei P9 is scheduled for an official unveiling at an event in London on April 6.
