iOS 9.3 riddled with Safari glitch, tapping on links slows down iPhones

A Safari glitch in iOS 9.3 is causing web links to crash the web browser. While Apple releases a new iOS 9.3 build for older iOS devices which now fixes the activation bug.

Following the high profile launch of the 4-inch iPhone SE, Apple also released the latest iOS 9.3 update after intense beta testing. Despite that, its appears the latest operating system is still riddled with problems.

Multiple reports now claim that both tapping and long pressing hyperlinks on Safari is crashing the browser on the latest iOS 9.3. In addition, Safari also locks-up when hyperlinks are opened from apps such as Mail, Notes,Messages and even social networks.

The exact cause of the issue is yet unknown. Apple told TechCrunch they’re aware of the issue and will release a fix in a software update soon. You can check out the video of the glitch in the YouTube video below:
