Karbonn mobile’s new 4G-enabled smartphone Quattro L50 will come with a new user interface (UI) called Kandy.
The new phone, priced at Rs.7,990, comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory. The L50, which draws power from a 2,600 mAh battery, sports a 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with flash and 5-megapixel front camera. It has a 5-inch display.
According to Karbonn, the new UI has been developed on the basis of feedback from its users to bring the most user friendly, stable and secure 4G experience to customers.
“Kandy has been designed to allow users to dictate the way they use and experience their smartphones to match their digital proficiency,” it said in a release.
The new UI claims to offer a single menu for users from where they can access the dialer, contacts, logs and messages. It also offers varied settings including audio enhancers, volume boosters and surround mode features for a never before music experience.
