Chinese manufacturer LeEco (formerly LeTV), last year launched the Le Max Pro which was the first smartphone powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset. Its Le 1s is already a big hit selling thick and fast. Hence, we wouldn’t be surprised if the company is already working on the successor to the Le 1s.
Multiple leaked images of a smartphone have surfaced online claiming to be the LeEco Le 2, which apparently show the smartphone from every angle. Going by the images, the most notable change appears to be use of a metal and a glass frame.
In addition, speaker grill holes are visible from both sides of the port which suggest the possibility of a dual speaker setup. Besides, the fingerprint scanner is now square (claimed to be of “ultrasonic variety”) instead of circular found on the Le 1s. The camera is housed at the left top corner on the back similar to the found on the Le 1s.
In terms of specifications, the LeEco Le 2 will reportedly feature either the Snapdragon 820 or the MediaTek Helio X20 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, a 21-megapixel camera and the latest USB-Type C connectivity for data transfer and charging.
We expect to hear more about the LeEco Le 2 in the near future. Stay tuned for more.
